When we look at age group sales shares at a category level in Pennsylvania using Q1 data, we see that older consumers tend to spend more in non-inhalable categories such as Capsules, Topicals, and Tincture & Sublinguals, but they also spend more on Flower when compared to younger consumers. Younger consumer segments such as Millennials and Gen Z tend to spend more in newer inhalable categories such as Concentrates and Vapor Pens. It is also worth noting that Pennsylvania doesn't permit the sale of Edible or Pre-Roll categories, which is why you find them excluded in the data above. Median Store SKU Counts
The number of distinct SKUs sold in the median store in the most recently completed month. Median was used instead of an average to remove the effects of outlier stores.
Median store Like-Store-Sales-Growth MoM - The month over month growth in sales for the median sample store (for example, January 2022 vs. December 2021). “Like stores” are filtered to exclude any newly opened stores or recently disconnected stores.
