Total sales = the total amount of sales for the month.
YoY sales growth = calculates the percentage change in total sales from the same month last year.
Basket count = is the total amount of transactions for the month.
Average basket = total revenue divided by the total number of transactions.
Brand concentration = is the % of the market that the top 10 brands make up (in terms of sales dollars). EX: in CA in Dec 2019 the top 10 brands held 32% market share.

The Alberta cannabis market
Hexo ranked number 5 within the Vapor Pen category in AB this September, with 20% growth from August to September. In September, Vapor Pens accounted for 59% of Hexo's sales, followed by Flower at 36%.
The British Columbia cannabis market
Tweed was ranked 1st within BC's Beverages category this August. This brand is in 7 categories and Beverages made up 22.4% of it's sales in August, making it the second highest category in sales, after Pre-Rolls, and before FLOWER! Their 3 Carbonated Beverage products have seen 53% growth from July to August.
The California cannabis market
Wana was ranked number 7 in the Gummies segment in CA after only entering the market a year ago. They owned 2.1% of the CA's Edibles share and 2.9% of CA's Gummies share in September. Gummies are Wana's specialty with a total of 19 distinct products, and an average month over month growth of 23% the last 3 months. Wana hasn't expanded to another Edibles segment, but hold onto your hats if they do!
The Colorado cannabis market
Kayak Cannabis was number 6 in Pre-Roll sales this past September in CO. They have grown an amazing 208% comparing sales performance this September to last September. Kayak Cannabis has products both in the Pre-Roll and Concentrates category, but their Infused/Connoisseur Pre-Rolls made up 35% of their market share in September.

The Michigan cannabis market
The Nevada cannabis market
CannaPunch ranked number 1 in NV Beverage sales and owned 40% of the NV Beverage market this September. In addition to those great sales they are also growing; their sales increased this September over last September by 54%. The majority (88%) of their sales came from the Iced Tea, Lemonade, and Fruit segment.
The Ontario cannabis market
Msiku is ranked number 4 within the Pre-Roll category in ON this August, with 5.5% market share even though they just entered into the Pre-Roll market in August. They are selling 4 distinct products within the Pre-Roll category.
The Oregon cannabis market
Fire Dept. Cannabis was ranked 3rd and owns 3.9% of the Pre-Roll share in OR this September. They have only been in the OR Pre-Roll market since March of this year, and have seen an average increase of 34% month over month growth the last 3 months. 76% of their Pre-Roll sales came from the Hybrid-Single Strain segment in September.
The Washington cannabis market
Mfused stands out because they have seen a 4.6% growth rate this September compared to last September when total category sales have been flat in WA's Vapor Pen market. Mfused was ranked number 1 in Vapor Pen sales in September. The majority (97%) of the brand's sales came from Cartridges, where they had 122 distinct products in market during September.
